Andy Murray of the Viking Theatre @ The Sheds, Vernon Avenue, Clontarf, talks to Noel McGuinness about their current and upcoming productions. 24 Hours from Tulsk from 15-27th July: a new comedy by Michael O’Sullivan starring…Deirdre Monaghan (Game of Thrones), Séamus Moran (Fair City), IFTA award-winner Brendan Conroy,and up-and-coming young Swords actor Niall O’Brien. From August 5–17th back by popular demand will be Where The Willow Meets The Ash written by Malachy Mc Kenna, performed by Tom Lawlor, Michael James Ford, Malachy Mc Kenna and directed by Bairbre Ní Chaoimh. Andy says this is “A serious comedy about stubborn men from the hilarious pen of an outstanding Irish writer…”. Following this from 19–31st August will be My Real Life (back after a sell-out run last year). My Real Life is written by Eoin Colfer, it stars Don Wycherley and is directed by Ben Barnes.
