On the show Patrick Donohue was joined by award winning Journalist Donald McRae who spoke to us about his new book “In Sunshine or in Shadow How boxing brought hope during the troubles”.

Donald joined us to tell us how boxing brought the loyalist and Republican communities together during the height of the troubles in Northern Ireland.

We will hear about the incredible story of legendary trainer Gerry Storey and we will also hear about boxers Barry McGuigan, Hugh Russell, Davy Larmour and Charlie Nash.
