Enviro – 28th January 2019

On this episode of Enviro:

Tony Lowes of Friends of the Irish Environment gave details of the court case which his organisation has taken against the Irish government contending that the National Mitigation Plan (NMP) is not fit for purpose. Judgement has not been given yet and one of the issues raised at the case was whether the Friends of the Irish Environment had sufficient standing to be represented in this case. This is a legal matter that the judge will have to adjudicate on.

Later in the show Roger Yates is a sociologist who has taught social movement theory as well as being involved in the vegan social movement for 40 years   http://veganinformationproject.cf  https://www.facebook.com/theveganinformationproject
