Sinéad McCoy, Coastal Communities Manager, Environmental Education Unit, An Taisce, talks to Noel McGuinness about Clean Coasts and the Big Beach Clean 2018. She explains that Clean Coasts engages communities in the protection of Ireland’s beaches, seas and marine life. It has organised hundreds of beach clean-ups annually that involve thousands of volunteers removing considerable quantities of marine litter from around our coasts. This year’s Big Beach Clean takes place on 15th, 16th and 17th September.
