Allon Ben-David, Middle East correspondent for Janes Defence Weekly, gives a briefing on the Middle East and Iran to an invited audience. He lists the challenges Israel faces in maintaining the current security balance in the region and illustrates the tectonic shift in nfluences whereby the agenda is being set, for the first time, by non Arab (Turkey and Iran) players. In this very candid and challenging address he explains why the so-called resistance movements (HAMAS and Hezbollah) shouild rightly be viewed as Iranian proxies/allies rather than exclusively defenders of their peoples.
