Glasmore Park in Swords celebrated their 50th Anniversary this year and as part of the celebrations they had a Family Fun Day on the Green on Saturday, 29th  July and Near FM were there to join in the fun! There was a parade, an unveiling of a plaque by the Lord Mayor of Swords, bouncy castles, Wooly Ward’s Farm was there with some Llamas and sheep; there were old school egg & spoon and sack races, live music, plenty of stories from the local residents who have reared their families there and some singing & dancing on the Green. It was a beautiful sunny day and it was a great fun day as there is such a great community spirit there within the Glasmore estate.
