Home Energy-Saving Kits in Local Libraries

Suzanne Fitzpatrick of Codema, Dublin’s Energy Agency, talks to Noel McGuinness about winning the EU Sustainable Energy Award earlier this month for their Home Energy-Saving Kits which are available for the public to borrow from public libraries across Dublin. She says you can borrow the kits from your local library and use the six tools inside the kit to see how much energy you use in your home every day. The kit includes a plug-in energy monitor and thermal leak detector and can help identify common issues such as poor insulation and home appliances that might be driving up electricity bills.
