Veronica Guerin – Did Dutchy Do It?

When Patrick ‘Dutchy’ Holland was released from prison in 2006, having served a 10 stretch, he wanted to appear on The Late Late show, to deny any involvement in the murder of journalist Veronica Guerin. RTE determined his appearance on the national broadcaster was “not in the public interest” – NEAR-fm disagreed. The interview was recorded and originally broadcast in late 2006, and he addresses the issue here. He has some choice words about some of the “unconvicted players” in this drama, and also addresses the unresolved issue of “did he pull the trigger”. Did he do it – listen and decide for yourself!
