Elaine Nevin, National Director of ECO-UNESCO, Ireland’s environmental and youth organization, talks to Noel McGuinness about the Young Environmentalist Awards (YEA). There is less than two weeks left to register for YEA 2017 and all young people across Ireland and Northern Ireland are invited to enter Ireland’s biggest ECO-Awards scheme for young people. Elaine says there will be a YEA Road Show travelling around towns in Leinster over the coming weeks to inspire and support young people to start their very own eco-action projects. The training needed will be provided to all registered groups free of charge.
