Brendan Price of the Irish Seal Sanctuary talks to Noel McGuinness about Bull Island Biosphere which is a unique site in Ireland and also in an international context in terms of its wealth of habitats and biodiversity. Among the creatures on Bull Island are two species of seals and Brendan explains that they are vulnerable during the breeding season. Harassment by dogs has led the seals to abandon their pups prematurely and he calls on the public to be vigilant and keep dogs away from seals on Bull Island.
