The Week In Review – Sheehy Skeffinton School

2016 is a special year for Sheehy Skeffinton School , with the centenary of the Proclamation and its guarantee of “religious and civil liberty, equal rights and equal opportunities to all its citizens”. It also marks the centenary of the execution of Frank Sheehy Skeffington, arguably the first of the revolutionaries to die. This year’s Sheehy Skeffington Human Rights School takes place on Saturday the 16th of April and the title this year is ‘The Irish Citizen in 2016 – Revival, Revolution and Rights.
