Swords gets the Purple Flag Award

Noeleen McHugh, Senior Executive Officer, Economic Enterprise and Tourism, Fingal County Council, talks to Noel McGuinness about Swords celebrating its Purple Flag Award. She says the Purple Flag Award is the “gold standard” for town centres at night and shows recognition of the town centre as being a safe, clean and fun place to be. Towns awarded the Purple Flag are recognised for providing a good mix of entertainment while promoting the safety and wellbeing of visitors and local residents.
