Paddy Delaney is a campaigner with Uplift. He explains to Mark Finnegan that Uplift is an independent organisation that believes in the strength of “people power”, i.e. through the power of people working together for a common goal they can create a better society. While Uplift is involved in campaigns that include homessless, protecting Dublin Bay, a living wage, etc., Paddy talks in particular about the campaign on the current refugee crisis.
