On this edition of Arts & Disability Radio presenter Pádraig Naughton visits Kilkenny Collective for Arts Talent in Callan to meet artist Andrew Pike to discuss his retrospective exhibition ‘The Bright Side’. Pádraig also talks to artist and facilitator Paul Bokslag to get a brief history of KCAT and the Abhainn Rí Festival which brought Callan’s Bridge Street alive with 70 actors and sold out performances. As always, there is an eclectic mix of music throughout the programme which this week celebrated American Independence Day and the Irish release of the Song of the Sea. The music includes tracks from Johnny Cash, Dolores Keane & Tommy Sands, Gregory Porter, Van Morrison, Lisa Hannigan and Sufjan Stevens.
