St Brigid G.N.S, Glasnevin; Mark Finnegan is joined in studio by Holly, Emily, Eabha and their teacher Miss Edwards from St Brigid G.N.S. in Glasnevin. The school are in the process of trying to win their 6th Green Flag as part of the Green Schools Program. St. Brigid’s GNS has been involved in the Green-Schools programme for roughly 15 years and the whole school community is dedicated to making the school and grounds a beautiful and environmentally-friendly place to be. Always willing to try out and sustain new initiatives, they have achieved flags on the themes of Litter and Waste, Water, Energy, Transport and Biodiversity to date. They are currently working on the theme of Global Citizenship Litter and Waste and will be submitting their application in March 2015.
