‘The past is a foreign country: They do things differently there’

On 9th March 2015 Rosita Sweetman, author of ‘Father’s Come First’ was a guest on the Senior Citizen Show. Hosted by Hazel Abdulla and Nell Fitzpatrick this week’s show marked International Women’s Day. Sweetman’s novel was first published more than 40 years ago and was reissued by Lilliput last year. Sweetman joined Hazel and Nell to discuss the changes ( politically, socially and legally ) that have taken place for women in Ireland over these decades.
