A new Radio series exploring the historical development of the EU and Ireland’s place in that development will be broadcast by north east Dublin Community radio station near90fm. The programmes will be aired on nine consecutive Thursday’s at 6.30pm commencing 3rd March 2011. Series Producer, Ignacio Irigoien says “this series is to inform people of the history and workings of the EU, its institutions and their effect on Ireland. It is a very timely initiative in view of the increasing role the EU will have in Irish affairs, especially economically, in the coming years”.
Programme 7 – The Court of Justice and Central Bank
Other EU institutions. The EU has many other institutions apart of these mentioned in the previous programmes such as the Court of Justice, the European Central Bank or the European Investment Bank, all of them with their particularities and specific functions that we will try to explain in this programme.
