Astronomy Ireland New Year Lecture

David Moore, Chairman of Astronomy Ireland, talks to Noel McGuinness on Northside Today about the public lecture on Monday 12th January at 8pm in Trinity College Dublin.  This will be given by one of the leading Rosetta spacecraft scientists from Germany and will look at what Rosetta has discovered so far, what it will look for over the next year, what the Philae Lander found in its two-day mission and if it will spring back to life in 2015.

This year is the 25th Anniversary of Astronomy Ireland and David mentions some of the events that will be taking place.  For full details see www.astronomy.ie
