Michael Foley of Age & Opportunity talks to Noel McGuinness about older people and the work of this organisation. He talks about Positive Ageing Week which takes place from 1st to 9th October with many events and activities for older people to take part in and enjoy. In addition, Michael gives a reminder that applications close at 5pm on 26th September for the Go for Life Small Grant Scheme for Sport and Physical Activity for Older People.  The scheme is aimed at encouraging older people to get active and is used by groups and clubs all over Ireland to buy equipment, run sports events or try new activities.
