Nick Murphy, CEO of the Darndale Belcamp Village Centre, tells Noel McGuinness about the new senior centre in Darndale.  This has day care and drop in facilities available for older people living in tihe catchment area of Darndale, Belcamp, Moatview, Ferrycarrig, Clonshaugh, Riverside, Glin, Cara Park and Priorswood and new members are welcome.  Their weekly activities include classes in jewellery making, clay modelling, gentle exercise, art and brain games.  There is also a men’s club and a women’s club as well as bingo.  For more information phone 01 8771600.
