Jerry O’Connor of the Immigrant Council of Ireland talks to Noel McGuinness about the rise in the number of reports of racism in the first six months of 2014. He talks about a new document “Towards an Inclusive Public Transport Service in Ireland” which has been launched to ensure that passengers and staff can travel on Dublin Bus, Irish Rail and Luas knowing that racism will not be tolerated. He says it is important that we send out the message that in Ireland there is no acceptable level of racism.
