Karl Smith, volunteer with Irish Water Safety, talks to Noel McGuinness on Northside Today about National Water Safety Awareness Week which appeals to parents and schoolteachers to give children vital information before the summer holidays begin to help prevent tragic drownings this summer. Karl is also a member of the Dublin Lifesaving Team and he talks about the start of their outdoor training and how this is a great way to learn some of the skills involved in lifesaving.
