This episode of the Europe on Air programme focuses the topic of gender equality in Ireland as well as in the European Union in the past, the present and the foreseeable future. The programme was presented by Ciaran Murray, Project Coordinator of the NEAR Media Coop. The guests involved Debbie Hutchinson, Producer of “The Feminist Heart”, a radio series on the history of feminism in Ireland, Niall Hanlon, Lecturer in Gender Studies an author of “Masculinities, Care and Equality: Identity and Nature in Men’s Lives” as well as Ciara Eustace, Press Officer of The European Commission Representation in Ireland.
