Fiona O’Rourke of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) talks to Noel McGuinness on Northside2Day about the development of a mapping application called My Local Environment or Timpeall an Ti.  This will provide easy access for North Dublin residents to information about the environment close to where they live, work or play. It is the latest in a number of tools developed by the EPA to make environmental data more accessible, and more importantly to frame it in a local setting. See www.epa.ie.
