LIFELINE INTERVIEW 9TH WITH NORTHSIDE COMMUNITY HEALTH HERO’S <\/strong><\/p>\n

Northside Partnership is one of just 45 organisations across Ireland who have been shortlisted for the Coca-Cola Thank You Fund for our project \u201cNorthside Community Health Heroes\u201d.<\/p>\n

The Coca Cola Thank You Fund winners will now be decided by 50% public vote and 50% judges\u2019 decision. The young people behind the Northside Community Health Heroes project are calling on all local groups in north Dublin to get behind this project and vote so that they can deliver:<\/p>\n

1. Free community events & activities in public parks and other venues in north east Dublin including:
\nA Family Fun Day \u2013 \u201cLet\u2019s Get the Northside Moving\u201d with free tasters from a range of sports and activity providers.
\nA 15k Northside Coastal Walk from Fairview Park to Howth Summit.
\nFree Circuit Training Classes in Northside Parks.
\nAn Intergenerational Olympics Day with games and activities for all ages from football to chair aerobics and lawn bowls!<\/p>\n

2. Free Healthy Food Made Easy Courses for local groups in public venues.<\/p>\n

3. The Northside Health Bulletin
\nA free healthy lifestyle newsletter with seasonal healthy eating recipes, suggested walking routes, exercise tips and more.<\/p>\n
