Brendan Mac C\u00e1rthaigh has spent over 50 years has an active member of
\nKolkata society. Born in Rathmines, Dublin he attended CBS Synge
\nStreet. Impressed by the unselfish lifestyle and dedication to
\neducation of the Christian Brothers he joined their congregation as a
\nyoung teenager. He qualified as a Teacher and after spending a few
\nshort years teaching in Irish schools he requested and was accepted to
\nteach in India.<\/p>\n
He continued his education in India and obtained a MA in English. He,
\nalso , has a degree in Music, he has a Doctorate as a Councilor, an
\nHypnotist, a man of many talents. He founded the organisation SERVE,
\nbased on his own religious founder Ignatius Rice, to influence the
\ninadequaties of the teaching methods in India. A musician, a writer
\nwith many published books on educational matters, but above all else
\nhe is a Poet with two published antholigies. A man of many parts.
\nHe is a recognised authority and expert on The
\nEnneagram and is invited to Lecture and give Workshops all over the
\nworld on this subject.<\/p>\n
