A lot of us grew up reading <i>Wuthering Heights<\/i>\u00a0and\u00a0<i>Pride and Prejudice<\/i>, two novels that, let\u2019s be honest, made emotionally avoidant men seem impossibly sexy.<\/p>\n<p>All that brooding and mystery&#8230; it felt like love and a lot of us wanted it! But is\u00a0the idea of a soulmate helping us or making us lonelier?<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.mariamchale.com\">Maria McHale<\/a> chats to psychoanalytically informed psychotherapist <a href=\"https:\/\/psychotherapycouncil.ie\/therapist\/dr-ray-oneill\/\">Dr Ray O\u2019Neill<\/a> who has over 20 years experience working with individuals, couples and groups.
