Welcome to episode 22 in The Hugh Lane Concert series, Near FM\u2019s long running music concert series, recorded in the beautiful surrounds of Dublin\u2019s Hugh Lane gallery. In this episode we are delighted to present Yonit Kosovske, Jessica Brown and Julie Comparini, performing Lough Derg 1 &2, featuring Watershed and Hermit Songs, two song cycles for voice and piano. With music by renowned Irish composer Aili\u0301s Ni\u0301 Ri\u0301ain, Samuel Barber’s Hermit Songs<\/em> and text by Ballina-Killaloe resident, poet Jessica Brown.<\/p>\n

The performers are Yonit Kosovske<\/strong> \u2013piano,\u00a0Jessica Brown<\/strong> \u2013poetry and\u00a0 Julie Comparini<\/strong> \u2013voice. With composer Aili\u0301s Ni\u0301 Ri\u0301ain and Samuel Barber’s – Hermit Songs.<\/em><\/p>\n
