Dublin Punk Untold examines the role Ireland\u2019s capital city played in the punk era. Inspired by the Hope Collective\u2019s Great Gig Memories book, producer and broadcaster Neil Farrelly has spent the past year and a half examining archives and interviewing the people who created Ireland\u2019s punk scene.<\/p>\n

In episode one, There was Nothing,\u00a0 we hear about how oppressive and dull Dublin was in the mid 1970’s, the explosion of pirate radio, Dublin’s first Zines, how the Radiators from Space formed and the tragic death of Patrick Coultry at the Belfield’s Burning Festival.<\/p>\n
