We mentioned some of the topics he<br \/>\ncovered and his concert in Dublin in the 60s, when he where he sang and played with the Carter<br \/>\nFamily, including his wife June Carter and her mother Mabel. We played some of his songs,<br \/>\nincluding \u2018Peace in the Valley\u2019, \u2018The Man in Black\u2019, \u2018Don\u2019t Go near the Water \u2018 (a track from his CD<br \/>\n\u2018Ragged Old Flag\u2019) and \u2018Folsom Prison Blues\u2019.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">He covered a whole range of social issues and in his CD<br \/>\n\u2018Bitter Tears\u2019 he covered some of the Native American songs of Peter La Farge who was a<br \/>\ncontemporary of Bob Dylan and who was very gifted as a writer, composer and magazine editor but<br \/>\nwho died very young and in mysterious circumstances. For championing the cause of the Native<br \/>\nAmerican Cash\u2019s was banned from access to the airwaves for a period of time. The most famous<br \/>\nsong in the Bitter Tears CD was Ira Hayes a Pima Indian who was one of the soldiers who planted the<br \/>\nUS flag at the top of Iwo Jima The Battle of Iwo Jima (19 February \u2013 26 March 1945) was a major<br \/>\nbattle in which the United States Marine Corps and Navy landed on and eventually captured the<br \/>\nisland of Iwo Jima from the Imperial Japanese Army (IJA) during\u00a0World War II We talked about<br \/>\nthe danger of an all our new war at present and the fact that Enviro is an anti-war program and<br \/>\nmentioned that the 20 January each ear is \u2018Martin Luther King \u2018 day. We included a quote from him<br \/>\nwhen he charged the US government with being \u201cThe greatest purveyor of violence in the world<br \/>\ntoday\u201d and we agreed that this has not changed.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Today the US is involved in eight wars. We also<br \/>\nquoted Mohammed Ali who on the TV program \u2018Soul\u2019 said \u201cThey want me to go to Vietnam to shoot<br \/>\nsome folks that never lynched me, never called me \u2018nigger\u2019 never assassinated my leaders\u201d. In the<br \/>\nsame context of peace we mentioned Marianne Williamson author of \u2018A Return to Love: a Handbook<br \/>\nfor a new American Revolution\u2019 and her recent book \u2018A Politics of Love\u2019 These are in effect a<br \/>\nhandbook for the kind of changes that are now required in American society and in the political<br \/>\nsphere. She has taken part in the Democratic debates for the US presidency, and is now gaining<br \/>\nimportant exposure in the media.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">We also mentioned the following :<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>1. 5G<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>2. HAARP<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>3.
