THE LEPRECHAUN MUSEUM<\/p>\n

The Leprechaun Museum is dedicated to the folklore and mythology of the Irish people, which we explore through the art of storytelling.<\/p>\n
The name is a bit of a misnomer; Leprechauns are talked about on the tours but not focused on exclusively and we’re not really what you’d classify as a “museum”.
\nWe’re not exhibition-based, we take people through a series of rooms which are set pieces to enhance the storytelling which is the core focus of the museum.
\nWe take people on guided tours where we tell them stories from the folk and mythological tradition and give some background information and folk customs and beliefs.<\/p>\n
I’ve been working with the museum for the past three years and am currently a storyteller\/tour guide.<\/p>\n
With regards to questions, anything to do with Irish folklore or mythology would work.
\nAs it’s coming up to Samhain \/ Halloween a couple of questions on the traditions surrounding the festival wouldn’t go amiss.<\/p>\n
I also wouldn’t mind the opportunity to tell a story over the course of the interview, just to give a taste of what we do in the museum.<\/p>\n
