Shiva Productions presents their latest show\u00a0 ‘Meet me in the Gardens’ – a\u00a0<\/em>unique theatrical experience in the garden, from the makers of ‘Angels in the Park’.\u00a0<\/em>Written\u00a0by Sharon McCoy and Directed & Produced by\u00a0Aoibhinn\u00a0Marie\u00a0Gilroy.<\/p>\n

Maura chats to them about their collaboration and the genesis\u00a0for ‘Meet Me In The Gardens’.\u00a0<\/em>Actors Karen Kelly, Rory\u00a0Duignan, & Joe Purcell, all celebrated artists, perform sample excerpts from the one hour show.<\/p>\n

Meet me in the Gardens is\u00a0a series of four short\u00a0plays which\u00a0will be\u00a0performed in various\u00a0locations as you enjoy\u00a0an exciting walk among\u00a0<\/em>Ireland’s\u00a0richest\u00a0plant collection\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>within the picturesque grounds of the National Botanic Gardens.<\/em><\/p>\n

This summer, plunge into the gripping\u00a0200-year\u00a0history of Ireland\u2019s National Botanic Gardens. Shiva Productions, in association with the\u00a0OPW\u00a0and Dublin City Council, who are\u00a0bringing to life a new site-specific theatrical experience, and digging up the ghosts of the gardens\u2019 riveting past. Based on true events and real-life characters, spanning the cholera epidemic to the onset of World War II, audiences will be taken on a thrilling ride through time before being jolted back to our technology drenched\u00a0<\/b>present.<\/p>\n
