Her music draws\u00a0on a mix of Jazz with tinges of Middle Eastern and Arabic musical elements.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><br \/>\n<span id=\"m_5034142844235177745:3sx.7\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Ruba\u00a0dove into music and made it her profession in 2011.\u00a0<\/span>She studied jazz performance at\u00a0<span id=\"m_5034142844235177745:3sx.8\">Newpark<\/span>\u00a0Music Centre,\u00a0<span id=\"m_5034142844235177745:3sx.9\">Blackrock<\/span>\u00a0Co. Dublin. She has written music for film (&#8216;When I Saw You&#8217;), released singles that generated much acclaim and was top of the indie charts in the Middle East and North Africa. Ruba has performed at international festivals in Ireland, the UK and the Middle East. She gave a TED talk about finding one&#8217;s own distinctive voice in music and art.
