For the past two years, Nearfm\u2019s Aoife Nic Canna has been putting together a major new documentary series on the characters and stories of the Irish club scene \u2013 listeners will now be treated to all the Folklore from the Dancefloor.<\/p>\n

The series remembers and portrays the clubs and the music from the disco inferno of the late \u201870s, up through the rave explosion of the late \u201880s, and right on up to the present day\u2019s eclectic mix.<\/p>\n

The sixth and final programme features Cymera, Emer o\u2019 Connor, Eoin Cregan, Conor Lynch, Colm Kenefick, Desy Balmer, Al Keegan, Sean O\u2019 Neill, Michelle O\u2019 Neill Ring, Stevie Grainger, Trevor O\u2019Shea John Mahon and Greg Dowling.<\/p>\n

Thanks to all who contributed to this landmark series chronicalling the history (so far) of the Dance Music scene in Ireland.<\/p>\n
