On Wednesday the 18th of June, a tribute night was held in Cork for legendary front man Finbarr Donnelly<\/a> (1962 \u2013 1989). Donnelly fronted seminal Cork bands Nun Attax<\/a>, Five go Down to the Sea?<\/a> and Beethoven<\/a> between 1978 and his untimely death in 1989. Donnelly’s partner in crime in all those musical escapades was guitarist Ricky Dineen.<\/p>\n

For the night, Ricky put together ..and NUN Came Back, featuring himself, Liam Heffernan<\/a>, Humphrey Murphy, Tom Healy<\/a> and Ian Walsh, and they played tracks from the back catalogue of all 3 bands.<\/p>\n

Left of the Dial were there to witness what was a fantastic celebration of Donnelly, and the excellent music those three bands produced.<\/p>\n

A couple of days after the gig, Ray from Left of the Dial<\/a> caught up with Ricky\u2026<\/p>\n
