Noel McGuinness talks to Karin Jonsson who is Vice -Chairperson of the Family Resource Centre National Forum. FRCNF have this week said they would be willing to work child specialist agencies to provide Child Contact Centres around the country. Karin believes\u00a0\u201cThere is a grave need for contact services for families who are going through separation, or who have separated. \u00a0The stress on children can be minimised if there are designated, supportive spaces where they can meet their parents”. Karin\u00a0was speaking after the launch of a report by \u2018One Family\u2019 on the recommendations arising from a pilot of child contact centres that concluded in 2013. A number of Family Resource Centres (FRCs) acted as the location for the pilot scheme in partnership with children\u2019s charity Barnardos. \u00a0You can get more information on the Pilot Scheme here<\/p>\n
